Reiki — What to Expect
Every session will begin with a brief consultation to discuss specific areas or situations of concern. Total treatment time is one hour.
Reiki Healings can be delivered in two ways:
1. Direct Healing
2. Distance Healing — sent to a recipient in another location. This can be done in three ways:
a. Preset- sending the energy at a predetermined date/time in the future;
b. Queued- sending the energy in advance with the intention of it being received when the recipient is ready; and
c. Real Time - sending the energy with the intent to have it received immediately.
~ Crystals, smudging, the use of a singing bowl and drumming are not part of a distance healing.
Practical Reiki Healings
Offers a combination of Traditional Usui Reiki and Kundalini Reiki guided through grounded intention; the client can be seated or lying down. The session will be infused with sounds of nature containing theta wave patterns and light massage. We know that by activating theta brainwaves, this creates the ideal mental and physiological state for emotional and physical healing. Through this meditative state, we reduce overall stress and anxiety and trigger the body’s natural ability to heal and repair itself. If the recipient has chosen a reclined position, crystals will be placed along the chakra energy centers for the duration of the healing. If a sitting position is chosen, crystals for the specific healing intention will be placed in the hands. The area and recipient are cleansed using herb combinations that target harmony, clarity & healing. Drumming or more specifically, the use of vibration will then be used around the recipient to break up “sludge” in the aura. A singing bowl will then be used around the recipient to restore the normal vibratory frequencies of dis-eased and out-of-harmony parts of the body, mind & soul. The practitioner will then activate the Reiki energy, cleanse and clear the chakras, indicate the intentions, and guide it with hand motions over the entire body. While the energy is being uploaded, the practitioner will then scan the body to assess various areas and then close the session with an intention and prayer. The recipient will then have time to relax allowing the energy to finish the ‘upload’ until it is completed. The session is concluded with a debriefing outlining what the practitioner picked up during the session and may include a spiritual message for the client. Next steps may also be discussed at that time.
